3 pt Harrow Bar

I built this and thought some of you would like to see it. The arms and harrows come off and old 40' ft harrow bar that are laying in the bush all over the country.

Now that's the ticket. So many posters have asked how to fix their harrows so they can pick up the whole harrow on the 3pt and this one sure takes care of that. Looks excellent. John

You know, I just happen to have a couple of 6 foot harrows laying around here. Where do you get a 3ph mount? Mine already has a bar going across both of them, but I need the 3ph mount and will then need to build a frame similar to yours to pick up the rear.

I just made the mount out of some 2" x 1/2" flat bar. I heated it up with a torch to make the bends and welded it to the flat bar tips that I welded to the 4x4 tube. I then cut a piece of angle iron and welded it to the top link area and at the back of the frame. Last I torched some holes for the lift pins.
It was very easy to do and I am no master of the welder or torch.

If I was to do it again Iwould use a tine harrow rather than the diamond tooth. They are more money but well worth it. See attached.
