Grapple 3 Pt. Hitch Grapple Skidder Attachment

While reading my Dad's August issue of his Farming magazine I saw an add for this attachment from the Iron & Oak co. in Streater Illinois.

I am sure it isn't cheap, but what an excellant idea for compact tractors. It hooks up to your 3PH, uses your rear hydraulic valves and Wa-Lah you have an instant mini grapple skidder.

Looks like a nice setup.

I think that you would need a pretty fair amount of counterweight on the front to keept the front end down.

Baileys <A target="_blank" HREF=http://>www.baileys-online.com</A> has a grapple called the SkidPRO that looks like the one you show with the addition of a telescoping boom. It is recommended for tractors of 40hp or more and sells for $1595.00. The web site has a video stream but I could not get it to work for me. Looks like a neat tool if you have enough front-end weight.
