I've read several different posts on this and still have a couple of questions. When I set the brush hog at the desired height it tends to drift down. I have read that there is a lever or bolt that can adjust it but I can't find it or don;t know what I'm looking at. I have started using the large lockout knob for travel with the hog on the tractor so that's working fine. I understand don't use the hydraulics with the knob closed.
I did find a screw with a butterfly nut on it on the 3 point lever slide and by adjusting that to the correct height it's holding the hog in place pretty well. Is that the only adjustment I need to use?
Also, when mowing does it matter how fast I go (terrain and safety dependent) as long as the PTO is in the #1 position which to my understanding provides the desired 540 rpm speed?
Final question (for now) I fat fingered my profile but can't seem to edit it, how do I do that? My tractor is obviously a YM not a YN...
Thanks for the help.
