3 pt quick attach

/ 3 pt quick attach #21
ninefinger, I must apologize to you since I'm measuring a SpeedCo adapter and you were doing a Harbor Freight adapter. They are different - both in price and construction. So below are photos of what I measured on a SpeedCo adapter and also what I'm trying to build... Yes, the price to buy one of the adapters is WELL worth it...

Hindsight is 20/20... I drill the holes to 7/8"... which is what I measured but most toplinks are 5/8" or 3/4" (why didn't I think twice about that???) There is going to be slop in the linkage... but is this good or bad??? I decided I will try it out before I drill to 1" and put in a bushing.

What is more common on the toplink 5/8 or 3/4???.

Teg
Cat 1 toplink is 3/4". Sometimes you can find 7/8 to 3/ bushings and of course 1" to 3/4" are readily available. Don't feel so bad -- I bought a carryall frame that has 7/8" pins on the bottom and a 1" hole for the toplink -- Farm Force of course:eek:

Well, it ain't pretty... but it should hold together. ;) Going up to the farm this wk/ed and will try it out with all the attachments. Hope I didn't make it too long. If it doesn't work, I'll be calling Harbor Freight on Monday...

The drilling and cutting took almost as much time as it did grinding out my bad welds .

Yea, I was thinking I could get a job with kubota, building FEL  (it's ONLY a joke).

Is the problem taking a photo or uploading it from your computer? (I can help with the second one ;).)
