When I bought my machine I looked into the zero percent but I am almost postive it carried a 750 dollar admin fee based on the cost of the machine.

Not really 0 percent if that is the case. A good rate but still not 0 percent.

Once you add in the higher purchase price and the 750 admin fee, I still think paying outright will save you a few thousand dollars.

I bought my 2305 with 0% no fees just staight up. The other dealer had a 2% of the amount finaced fee. That is why I bought mine from the other dealer. It was another 200 I saved.

When we got our 790 on the zero percent plan, there was, IIRC, about a $100 processing fee. I likened it to a closing cost on any such loan. I think our bank woulda charged us $50 closing to fix a rate from our HELOC to a fixed loan, but the $50 difference would be more than made up in interest.

Fees will be different with different dealers. With the 0% plans, the dealers have to contribute to the deal. They eather make it up in a higher sales price or by selling the tractor at a lower price & charging a fee.

I did not pay any fee on mine in Mid-Michigan.

And yes, using someone elses money for 3 years interest free is a "good thing"

I've bought 3 tractors (2305, 3320, and 3720cab) and never had any significant fees. I've always opted for the Insurance (A couple of hundred bucks) since it seems like a bargain with what it covers but that's not mandatory as long as you can show that your property insurance will cover it. (The Insurance JD offers is much more, covering accidental damage, etc.)
