Does anyone have experience with this?
I have greased and inspected the linkages and all is free and easy.
The pedal seems to come back somewhat but then stops short of the last bit and the tractor keeps moving forward unless I step on reverse and get jerked real good.
Also it hapens at varying rpms.

Mine has been doing the same for at least a year or more. Same description. All lubed. If I am going along with pedal all the way depressed and release it, it works fine. Just happens when not released quickly.

I have a BX2350 and had the same problem. I finally got to the point I thought it was a serious safety issue. I got under the tractor and started playing with the pedal and looking at the setup. In my opinion the spring that returns the pedal to neutral is to relaxed when you don't have the pedal very far forward. I also think the dampner in the system makes this problem worse. I took my dampner off and it almost 100% cured the problem. A new dampner would probably help the problem also. The only problem is with the dampner disconnected it makes the motion really jerky at times which was already a problem on my tractor but I feel that is much better than having the tractor moving when I don't want it to.

The dampner in the system looks a lot like a strut that would hold open a hood or back hatch on a vehicle. I also disconnected the mechanism from the pedal and on mine the pedal moved very free. I know on mine I was always greasing the pedal pivot hoping that would help. After playing with the pedal I realized that had nothing to do with the problem. I also think the problem is worse when the weather is cold and the tractor is cold. Its also a lot better in low range but this is probably because you have the pedal further depressed and get a better return to neutral this way.

Have you adjusted the return spring? My bx2350 does the same thing until it is warmed up or the temp is warm. I haven't adjusted mine yet, but will be. Dodge man, your diagnosis seems to make sense. I understand the was an attempt by Kubota to fix the 2350s pedal, I do not think mine has been done.

There is a spring you can adjust, it helped a little bit but not much. I'm talking there is a heavier spring kind of tucked up under the tractor that can't really be adjusted. This is the spring I think need a little bit different geometry to it.
