I'm close to buying a 3000dt but am concerned that it is not heavy enough to handle a heavy 6 foot rear grading blade and a 5 foot bush hog on steep slopes. I won't have a loader on this unit but will put fluid in the tires if I buy it. Any advise appreciated.

Get a weight rack and a number of suitcase weights for the front to control the steering and keep your nose down...

Have the dealer spread your tires out as far as they will go...

You may want to reconsider the loader "to protect" the tractor as you drive into heavy/tall nasty brush... along with the zillion other things you'll use it for after you get it.../w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif
