JB, were they the only dealer willing to trade you?. I asked DH marvin and the
salesman didn't really answer me.

I've been to Marvin and I deal with Farmington valley equipment, they're good people but are commercial dealers, that Davis is a large agricultural deal from what I've heard, and like I said they came to me, no tax either.
What do you gain going from 300X to 300CX, with my change from 430 to 300CX I gained like 400 to 500 pounds of lift capacity which was worth it by it self and have been very happy with it.
I was mad when I found out the last of the 4310's were coming with the 300CX and I got my tractor at the end of the 4310 production but mine must have been in dealer stock for awhile before I got it, my dealer did not want to let me trade up to the new loader because they didn't want to get stuck with it, when I called Davis it was like they were excited to get my 430 sight unseen, I was a little surprised myself.

I think the 300x lifts around 1350 and the cx around 1600. I'm not 100% sure those are the right numbers. The cx is availble with the skid steer type quick tach system. I'm pretty sure it's the same loader with larger cyclinders.

Well, I sent my tractor in for service. I just got it back yesterday. The Dealer did a pretty good job of resetting my loader. I would say it still maybe an inch off center at the most. I guess they did what others have suggested to do, loosen all the nuts, put it into position and re tourque every nut to spec. The bucket blade is now back to being level, which is good. And of course the loader now has no slop in it at all. My loader had a lot of side to side play in it before being serviced. Now it is nice and snug up against the machine. I knew I never hit anything hard with the loader. I guess just some bolts worked their way loose over time.

So I'm back in business.

Well this makes me put on my schedule to check the bolts for tightness like the manuals indicate. i have been pretty consistent about no doing that.
