I have a "new" used cub cadet 7305 which I understand is nearly identical to 3015hst. I don't yet have any manuals for it...

I'm trying to understand the loader hydraulic connection to the tractor. On the tractor, there is what appears to be a valve box with 3 quick disconnects. If the Mahindra is similar and someone has a manual handy, I would like to know the following:

1) What do the two positions of the valve lever do assuming it is a valve?

2) What is the "T" quick connect

3) What is the "N" quick connect

4) What is the "P" quick connect

The hoses on my loader aren't marked at all and I'm not too confident that
they are in the right place...

T= Tank, N= Power Beyond, P=In/Pressure /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thanks, I think that clears things up a lot. Just to confirm my understanding:

T: return from loader to tank
P: pressure from pump to loader
N: "power beyond" from loader spool valve to tractor, goes to 3pt

The valve lever on the connection block allows routing the P to N internally if the loader is removed.

If this doesn't make sense, please let me know.

That sounds right to me.

The only thing I would add is that isn't where the disconnects are located on the Mahindra (at least mine anyway!). On mine, the joystick bracket is mounted to the part of the loader frame that remains attached to tractor, with the disconnects located directly off of the control valve (see attached picture). The connections on the diverter block do not have quick disconnects on them. I'm guessing your control valve remains with the loader when removed?

Sorry about the picture quality, it's part of a much large pic and happens to be the only picture of the tractor that I have here at work. If you'd like, I can take a few more detailed ones this evening and put 'em up.

You have that exactly right. The diverter block looks identical. Now that you mention it, I suspect that the quick disconnects are probably installed with the loader and don't come with the base tractor at all.

To make up for the earlier pic, how about this?

Heres a picture from the manual (I don't own a scanner) of the page that describes the usage of the block. Pay special attention to the last note: if you remove the loader, you must move the lever back unless you like buying parts. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

BTW, if anybody needs more proof that these are last year's Cub Cadets (like there isn't enough already), heres my favorite: In the manual, on the page describing "Cold Temperature Operation" (page 49) there is this quote:

"4. TRANSMISSION HYDRAULIC FLUID - Use Cub Cadet Hydraulic Transmission fluid."

Looks like somebody "oopsied" with the cut-and-paste... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
