3016 rear remotes, what fittings?

I guess I am leaning towards 3/8 hose like you recommended. Unless anyone can give me a compelling reason to go to 1/2.

There is no reason to use 1/2". That would be like feeding a fire hose with a garden hose. If you are planning on using a log splitter, keep an eye on the hydraulic oil temp. I don't think that the OEM remote for these tractors was meant to have a continuous flow being run through it.

I will keep an eye on temps and just go to 3/8" hose. I am planning a FEL mounted upside down log splitter just to quarter large rounds. So, it would see limited use, and would not be run constantly like a 3ph mounted splitter. I guess I will just have to deal with slow cycle times, but that should not really matter in this instance either.
