Brand new to the forum and have spent too many hours trying to find local filters for hydraulic and HST filters.
So far OEM 19642509000 I have found WIX 57118 for hydraulic filter.
OEM 1968258100 did not show a WIX for HST filter, but,
OEM 1963255800 found WIX 51663. It has same 1-1/8-16 thread as WIX 57118 and rated at 10 micron
WIX 51664 is rated at 20 micron.
My HST filter seems to have same thread as hydraulic filter, and is about the same diameter but not as tall. The attached gaskets are different.
Any one with experience or advice ?

Just keep in mind that there is more to a filter than the thread size and pitch and the gasket diameter. As you mentioned, micron filtration is one thing, but some also have bypass valves set at certain pressures and some have anti-drainback. Some have more or less filter media and this media can be different materials. Some of the cans are made to take more pressure.
I'd recommend not being a filter engineer if you can help it. If Wix says they have a filter that is correct for the application I'd think Wix knows what they are doing. I'd trust them, as I would Baldwin or other good brands. But I'd be reluctant to just match things that appear to be correct. The HST system is pretty fussy about a good flow of properly filtered oil. And if you place an air filter in the can and it does not quite seal and you dust your engine, it is very expensive and not covered by warranty.
I'm all about saving money and more importantly creating competition so the OEM filters will be reasonably priced, but be careful.
I just bought a 2015 Dodge 3500 diesel pickup. It takes two fuel filters every 15k miles at $70/each!!! I can't wait until Wix and Napa and others help drive the OEM price down.
