Is this normal for several of the fitting going to bucket to leak. Not much, but you can see it on the threads

No. Fluid is supposed to be INSIDE pipes and hoses, not outside. OTOH, all old tractors tend to seep a bit, but generally it's from areas that aren't easy or cheap to fix. For simple fittings, however, you should re-assemble them so that they don't leak.
