Has anyone heard of any problems with this unit that were not found on a Lk3054 that added a loader and hoe? I spoke to a dealer last summer who stopped selling the TLB's until Kioti fixed the problem. Does anyone know what the dealer was talking about, and if there was a problem, has it been resolved?

Thanks

When I recently purchased my ck25 with fel & bh I had been looking at the 3054 tlb package. The first dealer I went to told me I didn't really want that model because it was older and had less power, he then tried to sell me a ck30 package. I later found out he hasn't had any 3054's on his lot for quite some time but he had about 5 or 6 of the ck30. The dealer that I did buy my ck25 from had a new 3054 tlb which I liked a lot. He did not mention a single problem about either machine. I probably would have bought the 3054 if I could have gotten it inside my shed, but I needed the foldable rops.

Just my 2 cents worth...

The problem I have discovered while researching this tractor is that I don't have one. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif Sure wish I did. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Last year they had some supply problems getting the 4 post ROPS/Bachoe mounts in from Korea, they were hard to get. It took me months to get the first one in. I have one in stock now. The XS solved the main issues of the former 3054, increassed hydraulic capacity, larger clutch, and beefier front axle and fully hydrostatic steering, also moving the shifter to the dash to make for easier mounting and dismounting.

Man I wish you were closer to me, you have been a big help! Well it sounds more like an availabilty problem that you are describing. The "problem" that I was told about was something specific to the TLB. This dealer had LK3054xs in stock, and he would put a hoe on them. He said he could get the loader for the TLB as well, but did not stock them. He said he did not feel comfortable selling the TLB version because of some things that needed worked out. To me, it would seem that it must have been some issue that pertained to the new Backhoe platform, but that is just a guess.

They sure are a good lookin tractor. I think Maybe HRS is right!

Thanks again

Can you imagine that that dealer had a TLB model, but did not stock loaders? How could he have a TLB model without the L? Makes no sense, and there have not been any inherent issues with the 3054XS TLB that I know of. It's a greatly imporved version of the older model and is much easier to use now that the gear shift is not in the way.

I probably was not clear enough in what I wrote. I believe what the dealer was saying is that he had the new updated version of the Lk3054xs with the gear shift and such in a better position. He had a variety of hoes and loaders for that tractor. He did not have any TLB's in stock as he said that there were bugs that needed to be worked out. He said he had them in the past and sold them, but was not comfortable doing so til he was confident that there were no problems. He said he could get the heavier loader for the tractors he had, and he could put the standard hoe on with the subframe that mounted below the tractor as was the usual practice.

Nobody else seems to have heard of any problems with this unit though, which is some good news.

The TLB starts out as a LK3054XS.
IT is the same tractor it just depends on if we the dealer what the TLB package or just the XS.
For sometime the XS tractor used a KL1230 loader and a KB2375 backhoe..
If you wanted a heaver loader then you went with the TLB package which gave you the KL1231 loader and a KB2376 backhoe and the TLB loader and backhoe were built heaver you also got a 4 post canopy with work lights.
It was this way for a short period of time and then they made it so you can get the KL1231 loader on the LK3054XS with the standard folding rollbar.
You can still get either or.

We do not stock the TLB package, reason is most of my customers are first time buyers and the like the looks and feel of the CK tractors.
We did stock them for a while but they just did not sell against the CK's in my area.
If I have a customer that falls in love with one. I will bring it in so they can demo it with not strings attached.

I have read that the 2376 is a heavier duty hoe, is it really heavier duty then the 2375? If it has a higher capacity could someone post the statistics? Or is it just a heavier duty frame mounting system? I was under the impression that the subframe mounting difference was what mad them distict. Any info would be great.
