Mine hesitates after startup.
I just presumed it took a while for the fluids to get circulating.
After the initial hesitation at startup, she responds immediately.
Doesn't bother me, as I always have something to do in the interim (seat belt, raise loader, place beverage in holder, etc.)

Ditto here! I just thought it was par for the course.

Kev, I did not intend to take over your post. Sorry.
I hope everything works out OK.

You guys are letting these things warm up after start up, right? I believe the manual says to let them warm up for a few minutes and even longer during cold weather. This goes for any piece of equipment with hydraulics. I believe that HST's are directly related to hydraulic flow.

Take it from someone who spent several years with KIOTI in Wendell the hydraulic problems is not a new problem. This is not a KIOTI bash just someone who knows that KIOTI has had hydraulic problems on several machines for a long time. Work closley with your dealer and you might get it fixed.

I don't see mine as an issue/problem. After she warms up for 30-45 seconds, all is good!

That is pretty normal for an HST, they must build up pressure first. I have used several other colors and they all perform the same.

Your supposed to let it sit there and warm up for 5 minutes minimum and even more in cold weather. I will admit to backing off the trailer after only a couple of minutes but I still let the temp gauge come up before putting the CK to work.

There is a hyd hose update kit relating to the way the hydraulics are plumbed. We have installed a couple of these and they help with performance. No hyd pump failures yet though.

Jon, I've noticed my lifting capacity on my 3054XS seems to have deteriorated lately. It has difficulty lifting a full load of dirt without the hyd's squealing like a pig. Would the hose update kit fix something like that?

Some more info on my most current 3054 fix. According to Ben at Eton Tractor, Kioti's fix for this hydraulics problem includes the different pump, a hydraulic hose kit(which is supposed to improve performance), the entire valve unit for the BH, and a new panel for the BH's operating panel (new valve unit will not bolt up to original oper. panel).
Some reasons why for the pump and valve unit replacement, at least as it's been explained to me:
1. Pump for the XS TLB has more demand on it. Even though the 3054's pump was upgraded for this option, (TLB), it requires a pump that matches this machine's demands more correctly. I haven't been given any details about pump output or design differences as of yet.
2. Greater pressure or output of the new pump has caused leak on boom control. Again, as I understand it, the new unit is more compatible with the new pump.
This fix has been a work in progress as the pump was upgraded first at Kioti's direction. Then after I got the tractor back and developed the leak, Kioti told my dealer the hose kit and valve unit work was needed. Then, after I took it back, the dealer found the valve unit wouldn't bolt up, so then Kioti will send new panel.
Through all of this the guys at the dealership, have been great, even picking up and delivering tractor for latest pump replacement (round trip @ 150 miles!). They also have kept this under warranty work even after my year was up this past March, due to it being an identified ongoing fix.
I'm hoping Kioti has come up with everything I need to resolve this.
Although I don't use my tractor in my work or commercially, still looking forward to getting my TLB to do list whittled down when it comes home!

Also found out today from dealer that my 3 pt. lift problem was simply a hydraulic hose issue from when they had worked on last pump replacement. Since I hadn't had the hoe off until I developed the leak, I just hadn't found their whoopsie.
