Lucky dog you, /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif Nice looking rig, I am eying the 3320, how did you end up going with the 3120 vr another line up in this class. I have a 4110 now just over a year and want to step up but do not want to again in a year. so i go backand 4th, 3120-3320 or 3520, but the pocket book is holding me back when I look at the 4110.

I was origionally looking at a 4115 but the dealer said for the price difference I could get the 3120 so I did. all the talk about the 3120 being weak is not true. 2 to 5 HP difference in the other models does nothing for me, its nothing you can feel. an upgrade to me is going from the 30 HP class to the 40 or 50 HP class. the 3120 is a tank, unstoppable. you dont get a real upgrade unless you go to the 3720.

I think you have a good point, about the hp, the dealer near me has the 3120 and will not stock other only for order. When looking at that honey (3120) I think to myself thats all I need. My 4110 does a lot but always wante a bit more ump than it can give. I want to add a grapple to lift and move 5 to 6 ft logs 30 inch dim. or there abouts.
Have you tried to dig with a fel. My 4110 has a tough time diging in our clay and loam. Have to angel and us the wieght to lift up to dig much. It does fine with a bucket full of gravel or dirt.

Congratulations on the new tractor Garrabo! I was going to get a 3120 at first but since I was getting the 448 bh I was thinking that the extra hp would be a plus. After running the 3120 in my tractor shoot out and now having the 3320 I'm not sure that I can feel any difference in the hp? That 3120 had plenty of hp and probably would have worked out just fine, I think that I just fell into the old: going to buy a chevette and ended up with a camaro sindrome /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif but even still I sure do like my 3320 alot! So what bh did you end up ordering? Have a great weekend!

That's a great looking toy, err tool. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif Hope you can post more pics, especially with the bh. Are those the larger R4's in the photo?
I'm looking at the 448 Hoe with an 18 inch bucket. another thing I really like about this tractor is that you can switch the tires for a wider stance which I havent done yet. The FEL plows hard clay fine but this tractor needs ballast, its a little danderous on slopes with a full bucket and no rear ballast (which I guess is true with any unballasted tractor). sometimes it breaks traction due to no ballast. but I dont have real aggressive tires on it either (just R-4's).
I'm also looking at a grapple bucket as well. It pulls a middle buster great thru hard clay. I must say this tractor is impressive. that load match feature is very impressive. hope I've answered all questions. One recommendation would be wheel weights if no rear implement will be installed immediately.
I'm kinda curious about a tooth bar to.
and of course I will post some Hoe pics when it arrives /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

By ballast, are you talking about filling the tires? That will help to a degree by keeping the weight down low and providing more inertia (in this case, resistance to lifting the tire on one side).
If you talking about rear (3PH) ballast...that can really help with digging, but not much help as roll-over protection.

Those are a big help with digging! If you've got dirt to move, or a pile of dried up clumpy material, a tooth bar is the only way to go!

yes sir, filling the tires or wheel weights or a ballast box, some of my breakout force is translated into a rear wheel lifting off the ground. I almost rolled it down a hill one time but I dropped the bucket and stopped that. The seat is still pinched up. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
I do recommend careful consideration of some form of basllast with this tractor to get the most from it depending on what you use it for. But truely, I have only good thing's to say about it at this point. I am pleased /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
