Ballast 3120 wheel weights

has anyone installed wheel weights on their 3000 series if so did you do it or the dealer and do you like them?

Hi, I did install a set a few months back. I got them used so I did the install myself although in retrospect, it wouldn't have costed much more to go new because shipping is not cheap. Yes, I do like them as they give the tires more bite. I've installed 2 per side right now and I've got another pair that I'll install this spring once I've cleaned them up and painted them. I can't tell you about stability except that they do help with the ballasting needs since my boxblade is lighter than a fully loaded ballast box. As for side slope stability, again, I can't tell because the uncomfortable feeling comes from the tilt of the tractor and where the operator sits. That won't change with the addition of wheel weights so while the tractor is probably a little more stable, I wouldn't know. Here is a picture of 2 weights installed.

itn, I installed weights on my 3520. Below are some of the install pics and what it looks like when finished. I ended up with a different style weights than what are usually used. The weights are not hard to install as long as the dealer gives you the correct hardware. Superduper has the correct style weights. Theoretically you can continue to stack weights out as far as you want. Once you get more than 3 additional weights they start to stick out past the edge of your wheels.
