3130 alternator output

I was wondering what the output is of the stock alternator on a new 3130? I was thinking of adding some worklights and hope it has enough juice to run them. Thanks...

It should. If you look, there should be stubs for work lights already in the wire harness.

I believe they are under the seat (factory). The color green comes to mind on the wiring for some reason??? I wired mine direct with in-line fuse but some have done the relay installation tied to the ignition. Several ways to skin it. If you have kids you want it on relay or you better be good at keeping them away when it's parked. Under the seat I just don't recall if that's on relay or not. There were several good threads of members who did it right. Mine is fuse protected but it isn't on relay (kid or idiot proof). The alternator output?? I'd have to check as I don't recall. 30 amps perhaps. Plenty for two auxillary lights and probably double that (wattage depending).

According to the Kubota product literature, the stock alternator has a 40 amp charging output. That is plenty enough to run 8 55w bulbs simultaneously.

Bill, a inverter will use more electricity than it will put out
And your ideal volts out should be 13.8, running
