3130 or 3430?? Value in the Kubota Name??

Maybe Kubota's are a bit higher in price than Manhindra's or Iseki's but I will tell you one thing for sure..

When it comes to trade them in, their trade in value is right in there with JD. That comes from my personal experience. I have had 5 Kubota's, never a major problem with any and at trade in time and we all trade in eventually as you aren't going to retire with your tractor or at least I hope not, the Kubota will hold it's value.

As an example, I traded an L-3710 for the 5030HSTC. It cost me exactly $2800.00 to run the 3710 for 3 years and that was a hard 3 years. The tractor was on my dealers lot 2 days and it was sold. I ran into the guy who bought it and he is tickled with it, just as I was.

You're right there! Also if someone is considering used, Mahindra especially the new 00 series are virtually non existent. They are however a good buy. Just my opinion!

He's hitting it right on the head.... The 3510 you are talking about is a TYM. It is a great machine. From what I have seen in the compact tractor market, Mahindra and Kioti are two companies that are trying hard to meet VALUE expectations as well as functional. There are others in there too.... Century/Branson and the like, but I have not had the oppurtunity to actually put my hands on those. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Also, have you looked at the bigger 4110 tractor? Kioti DK series would be worth your time also.

If you have hills the extra HP might be worth it. I have a L3010 with the 30HP Hydro Tran. It works great but it really
stalls out on big hills. Of course I carry heavy implements and have the tires filled for extra weight. If you intend to make a heavy stable machine by filling tires, you might consider more HP.
