Hey can you check the serial number on your plow? This would be helpful. I am going to drive out to Indiana to get this thing and my fear is that it may end up being a long haul and find out its wrong. The John Deere dealership can't even tell me if it fits. This is very troubling in that they should be able to tell me.

Sorry, I haven't been on in awhile.

I can't find the paper work for my plow but that second pic looks just like it. And yes the hydraulic lift will lift the plow but you angle it manually from the seat, the angle kit was an option and works well/easy.

Mine is also to slow in reverse!! If you find a solution let me know. I'm sure it's for safety. Wonder if anything can be done with the lever linkage?

I also notice the valve under the fender for the lift gets pretty hot when running, don't know why only use the lift a couple of times during mowing.

As far as monthly maintenance goes I don't think there is any, just check the oil. After I cut the grass I let it cool down, lift the hood and blow any grass or dust off the entire machine, helps keep it a little cleaner.

Overall I am very happy with this machine, makes mowing my lawn much more enjoyable. Zero turn would make it the cat's meow.

JB.

The second one on your list will fit a 320 (M03480X)
Thank you for the response. I called the JD dealer and they couldn't confirm. I asked again and am waiting for a response

Well I found a snow blade for the 320 on Friday. I was mining ebay and craigslist and to my surprise a front blade listed for 1 day about 3 hours from home was online. In talking with the guy he was selling it for $425. In the end he sold it for $400 which is about $100 off of what I was finding other plows on machinefinder.com. The MachineFinder blades however would have cost $200 to ship.

I tested it out last night and it hooked up with fine. The blade came off a 1999 GT325.

Thanks to everyone for their help. Pictures will come next

My 320 will not start very well. I choke it and it does not start. It will start when I lower the throttle to idle. What's up? I have new spark plugs and the air cleaner is new. could it be the unleaded fuel? 84 octane
Thanks,
Tom:confused:

I don't have any of it with the hood open right now, I will be installing the plow soon though, I will get a pic of it then, or maybe I'll mock it up before I install it if I have time.

I think it's one or 2 bolts that hold it, not the most solid connection, but it's not holding much.

Put the plow on today, here are the pics, just one bolt and a bent plate to hold on the existing sheet metal.

The blade and manual pivot are now on. On a side note. What is interesting about your picture is that you'd don't have two fuses above where you mounted the arm. On my machine I have fuses

Looks good,

I have the fuses, they were just out of the way for the bracket install.

What do you have, rubber behind the blade?

My blade wore so quickly I couldn't believe it, even the replacement heavier steel I installed is wearing already. It was just cold steel, not hard plow blade. but neither was the stock one apparently.

It's a hard rubber blade strip. It comes from a company that makes airport plow blades....It actually wears really nice.

I'm just starting a restoration of my 320. Trying to get the fenders off, but everything is rusted! Guess I'll saw off all the bolts and start from scratch.

Just completed restoring my JD 320... here's a couple of before and after. It took a bit of time, but was well worth it... it purrrs now.. and so pretty!! Attaching a blade tomorrow and will sit around and wait for the snow! Figures - terribly mild winter here in Maryland.

Wow! looks like you did a nice job. So you have the snow plow? How about chains and weights? They definitely help.

It is very mild around here too, I'll be working on a roof tomorrow.
