3203 Update

Apparently the 3203 can be ordered now, because I know of three which were ordered this past Saturday due to arrive April 18th or sooner. The street price I'm hearing for tractor with 300 loader is 17.5K. With this type of price, I'm not sure how well they will sell, because the 20-series is only slightly higher with more features, but only time will tell.

Ya, but the comparable 20 series is the 3320. That makes the 3203 about $2400 or $2500 cheaper. Which I'm sure will be worthwhile to some folks. And remember the Kubota L3400 Hydro is within a $100 - $200 of the 3203, and they've been selling well.

I think the 3203 is a pretty awesome setup. I was thinking 15-16K though - $17500 can get you into a used 3320 if you look hard enough. Trust me on that one. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

We will see where the ultimate price falls on th e3203, but 17.5K now opens itself to other options as mentioned, the Kubota L and 3320 (I really like this particular machine). Another real negative about the 3203 is that Deere is not even offering a backhoe for the unit.

Probably for the same reason they do not offer one for the 2210/2305 --- it would eat into the sales of their other more expensive tractors. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I'll bet Woods solves that issue . . .

I bet there are plenty aftermarket backhoe manufacturers that will have a backhoe available for that model.

Ya, you would think. The Hyrdaulic pump is capable of running a backhoe.

I'm someone who is waiting for his Kubota L3400 to be delivered next week.

The new JD in the same price range would have really caused me to think and re-think. I don't really know which direction I would have gone if they were both available when I made my decision.

Realisitically the new JD will not be in the running for folks like me until the price after discount is similar to the L3400 after discount. I suspect that might be a few months yet.
