Messed up the outlet location, but it'll work; should have gone further to one side, but wanted to leave room for future expansion. Valve may look in a dicky location but I'm happy with it as it will be primarily used for cement mixer yet to arrive. So bugger it I can't really test it at the moment yet either!
Again massive thanks for the help. Off to work tomorrow for a month, do will post again once I'm back with the cement mixer working.....hopefully!!!

Hydraulic output or input would come through the oblong opening you see on the inside facing picture I've posted. The plug has a 8mm hex head to remove and appears to be 16mm in diameter. Don't have a means to measure the thread pitch.
