JD 3320
Hi everyone, I have a question, I'm sure it has been asked before but I am still tractor dumb, I have a JD 3320 w/FEL, now I noticed from the front of the tractor there are hydraulic hard lines running to the rear where they dead end and have a black cover, there are 4 lines, I'm guessing this is the initial plumbing for hydraulics to the rear??? if so does JD make a kit to finish it off? if so how much is it? and how hard would it be to install for a do it your selfer? I truly wish I had spent more time on here prior to my purchase I would have had rear hydraulics come with it. Thanks for your help guy's.

No. The 3rd SCV gives you one extra remote in the rear. To run top and tilt, you will need 2 extra remotes if you want both top and tilt function. The kit that you need is the diverter kit (LVB25507) which is an electrically operated valve that diverts your FEL functions to the rear to operate the top/tilt with your joystick. You can install it yourself but it won't be easy and you should have a excellent selection of tools at your disposal, tools that aren't used that frequently. Note that my dealer wanted $800 labor for the install. Also, in order to get the kit pricing, you might have to speak with their sales department if the parts department is unable to order it for you. The reason is that the kits are considered options and upgrades and not service parts so they are handled by different departments.

However, your initial post about the hard lines that routes to the rear capped off by black cover intrigues me. Please post an image of what you are referring to. If you have 4 lines terminating at the rear with quick disconnect couplers already in place, perhaps you already have the diverter option. Or perhaps those lines are actually extension lines intended to operate FEL mounted hydraulic attachments that require hookups and route to the rear.

I wish I could get a picture for you, I'm in Iraq right now, the 4 hard lines run back from where the quick connects for the FEL are, there are no quick connects in the back, where they end there is a black metal cover. I know this explanation sucks I hope someone with a 3320 will post up.
