3320 w/ H165 Loader Lowers When Curling

Hi all, I recently took delivery of a new 3320 with the H165 loader, with a set of forks. When I go to curl back, feathering the control valve, the load drops. If I shift the valve further, the load will then start to lift. Weight on the pallet was approx 600 lbs, Engine rpm was 1900.

I've been reading a lot on the 1 series with this exact problem but didn't see anything with the 3 series. The fix for the 1 series was a redesigned valve.

Has anyone here with a 3 series seen this issue?

If the lift spool is in neutral, that should not happen.

Are you sure you are not pushing just a little on the lift spool.

Try cycling through the hyd about 5 times to purge any air that might be in the cyl.

The load check holds the load while the spool is in neutral, but when I start to curl the load by feathering the valve, then the load starts to drop. If I shift the valve further to curl it will stop dropping and then begin to curl up

Is the loader dropping or are the forks tipping down before starting to raise?

The forks are tipping down, then I shift the curl valve more and it begins to curl up

I noticed on my new NH loader when I curl down to back drag if I'm not real careful when I raise or lower the bucket will uncurl and almost flop up. I blame it on operated error. There must not be much play on new joysticks. My old ones can move in a circle and the bucket doesn't move.

Remove the load check valve and inspect and clean.

Check poppet, spring and seat.

Make certain your hoses are connected correctly at the quick disconnects. The FEL valve has a float on the raise/lower and a quick dump on the bucket. Perhaps you have something plugged up wrong.
