yeah.. but that front end difference on that utility makes other differences.. like radius rods.. plus that front pump setup.. those are likely items he needs to see in detail... especially since he will be working up front to repair it.

I agree with used on amazon / ebay.. good deals sometimes.

the front bolsters or not no different other than the 3400 has two other bolts that goes into the oil pan and a service manual on a 3400 will not cover the front pump loader and backhoe they was not installed at the factory u had to buy the tractor the loader and the backhoe all seperate and the loader and front pump of a 3400 is the same loader that goes on a 3000.

i know they are different part numbers thats why is said the only difference between the bolsters or the one for a 3400 as two more bolt holes casted in them that u bolt to the oil pan below where u bolt it to the motor

Was tinkering today an i found out that if i pull the splined shaft toward the pump it engages the splines, started tractor an ran just fill no noise an loader worked just fine. I could see the splines are worn down, I pushed shaft back toward engine an pump does not work an a ton of noise.
I had my wife do some looking for the manual an she found one for $155 will be here in a couple of weeks.

the bolster that is.. the optional number i posted is for a bolster with provisions for front hookup of a MMM.. at least for the brackets anyway.

the bolster itself is basically the same.

sounds like u need to change the collar on the pump and change the shaft

I agree...yep.. or rig something with a pin or key if you can't find or afford the correct parts.

coupler shouldn't be too bad.. and shaft.. depending on style shouldn't either .

yea they aint to bad i just put a front pump loader on a 3000 which is the same pump and it cost about 80 bucks for the coupler shaft and the star coupler that bolts on the flywheel (they where all aftermarket parts)
