I have been looking at the possibility of running a small square baler. Guess I just like the idea of having more toys er, tools /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Don't need more that about 100 or so bales a year for the Boer Goats and angora bunnys.
In looking at the century 2535 it looks like it might do it, but not sure. I don't have that much experience with that. I guess I could probably step up in size but not sure I want to. It is a nice size tractor.
How well does that 2535 run the model 76 backhoe? I would love to get bigger but I think this size would do every thing that I would ask of it and then some. On the loader with the C50 can you pick up close to a 1000 pounds? I kind of figure ya can from the postings that I have read but just asking.
What does getting a little bit bigger one do for me? The century dealer is 1/2 hour away from me and a nice guy. The branson dealers are about 2.5 hours and more away. though I do want to look at a branson. I know that I'm not really sure that I want to get one with turbo on it though. I want to keep it simple. The kukje twins ARE SIMPLE /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif. I told my wife last night that I would be getting one or the other. I'm reminded of the Say "Keep it simple stupid" /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
I feel like a sure do spend a lot of time on this forum. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif It is addictive. But VERY informative. HAPPY NEWYEAR everyone

You would probably have enough power to run the baler, but I would be a little concerned about the weight, or more to the point, the lack of it. When the baler gets a mouth full of hay and the plunger starts really working hard it could really give you a ride. I don't know how much I can lift with the loader on my 3045, but I have lifted the back of the tractor off the ground when I tried to pop a stump out of the ground with the loader. And I have loaded rear tires.

I have the C50HL and I have a hard time getting the rear tires off the ground. Maybe I've got more fluid? Should be interesting as this tractor weighs a lot for it's size.

I only witnessed the rears coming up one time. My wife was running the machine and dropped the bucket a little to fast with a full load on. Scared the heck out of her! Tires come up about 8 inches...I promptly reminded her "slowly dear" /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I usually run with atleast 1K to 1.5 K in the back between implements and loaded tires.
