LB, congrats on the new addition to the orange family. If you keep buying tractors, you're gonna need to devise some sort of robotic driving system to keep em all busy.

1*Thanks ~~ Actually it's 2 new additions to the orange family.
If all goes as planned I'm getting 2 BX 1500 tractors .
1 new one and 1 used one .
2* Not really because I now have 4 tractors >>> 2 Bolens tractors I Kubota BX23 and 1 CC GT2554.
The 2 BX1500 tractors will replace the 2 Bolens tractors and the CC GT2554.
After I retire the 2 Bolens tractors and sell the CC 2554 I will be down to 3 tractors instead of 4.
At that point I will have 3 diesel and 0 gasoline tractors rather than 3 gasoline tractors and 1 diesel tractor.
I will also be switching from 3 brands to just 1 brand.
What I haven't figured out as yet is where to store the 2 BX1500s.
Guess I will have to see if I can clear out a couple of stalls somehow in the 6 stall Pole barn.

Either I don't have big enought barns or I have to much junk.
It's prpbably the latter.:D

my experience is you can never have a big enough barn...junk just seems to keep appearing:D

I know the feeling .
I have a 4 stall 30 x 52 Garage
A 22 x 76 6 stall pole building
& a 20 x 24 2 stall enclosed car port.
Right now all 12 stalls are ful ,1 of ny pick ups is setting out and I have 2 tractors and 4 attachments on the way. ;)

Well, i've had three complete mows with the x340 and really like it. It mows so well. Smooth ride, great cut. The engine just moves....never stutters. The 54 inch deck makes my life much easier. I absolutely love the maneuverability of the x340, both the steering (wow, who would need powersteering and zero turn) and the foot controls. I didnt' think it would be so easy to operate with one foot. One thing that is a bit awkward is that the brake is tall over the forward and reverse pedals...making it virtually impossible to hit hte brakes fast when you need to.

As I posted earlier, the only complaint is the traction. Of course, i expected it and think i may go with some of the recommendations for rear weights. Don't get me wrong, the only traction issue that I have is on very steep grade. For almost everything but the very steepest, it does great. I used to have to hang on the side of my old craftsman, but not with this one.

It is so well built, so great to use......saves me a ton of time. Would recommend it to anyone. If anyone has questions about it, feel free to email me at klh92@yahoo.com. I know buying a mower can be a real pain in the rear and reading all of the posts can be very confusing. I'm not an expert, just a regular old user of it. I'd be glad to offer any thoughts needed.

Have you tried running the rear tires soft to add traction? This can make a big difference all by itself.
