This probably means you have the valve open too far below the seat and the oil is leaking through the other side of the seal. Turn in tighter (like you did) and it will stop. This valve is primarily for adjusting you down speed of your 3 point implement. I've had one where that has happened, tighten up the valve a bit and you should be good.

If I close it enough to stop the bucking, the three point hardly moves down at all (have to close it off completely). I have never had any trouble with the 3-point speed control before (have had this trractor since 2008). I am trying to determine if the three point lift cylinder seal needs to be replaced, or if the problem lies elsewhere.
