3510 and King Kutter Tiller

I am looking at purchasing a 72'' King Kutter for use with my 3510 and would like to hear thoughts regarding this combination. I live in an area with sandy loam soil and need to reshape a large area for the lawn and also correct some drainage issues.

King Kutter recommends 35-50 PTO HP for the TG-72. The 3510 only has 28.7 PTO HP. Although your land is sandy and loamy, I still think you are a little shy of what's needed. You can always go slow however.

If your tractor is hst or has a creeper you should be ok. I recomend you get one the same width (or slightly larger) as the tractor.

CCM has a 72" Gear drive tiller recommended for 25-70 HP Tractors. Your tractor is 10% above the minimum recommended HP for a 72" CCM MR190 tiller.

Clark, we are using the King Kutter Tiller on a 3505 DI tractor. I don't think you can beat it at any price. We have
worn out several chain drive tillers, and the housings for the drives. The King Kutter has a cast iron gear housing it is now 4 years old and has had no trouble. We truck farm 25 acres with the tractor and tiller. My thoughts /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gifGood buy. TexasBill
