3520 300CX hose routing

"The lines from the 300CX to the 3520 are chafing the side of my hood."

My 3520 - 300CX came with the same problem. It was caused by 2 things. First the upper hose bracket was bolted tight to the arm not letting it swival like it is suppost to. And second when the hoses were attached the installer did not make sure that all quick connect ends were pointed up as the book calls for. Once these were corrected all was well.

I'd like to see those pics too, if you don't mind. My baby hasn't been delivered yet but that's the configuration I ordered. I could head a potential problem off at the pass. Would appreciated it.

My hose connections were pointed up, but in examining the plastic tie wrap that holds the meshed bundled against the inner arm, I could see that if repositioned it would give me the clearance needed. I didn't need to loosen the tie wrap, the ends of the plastic clip that wraps around the mesh were butting ends and not overlapping. As soon as I gave the clip a gently squeeze, they slipped by one another, and I was easy then to reposition the tie wrap so its away from the hood. I now have about 1/2" clearance. Hope my pictures help??

Great pics Hankus. But my problem is different. I dont have any clips touching the hood. My hoses(inside the mesh wrap) are touching my hood toward the front, just above behind the front right tire.

JMT are your hose connections pointing up as mine? If so then the only other thing it can be is the positioning of the hoses in the clip along the inner arm. Maybe the mesh hose bundle needs to be pulled through a little more to reduce the size of the loop that hangs below it. I'll see if I can get a better picture of the mesh as it passes the hood on mine to give you an idea of how much slack is present.

Try a simple test to see if you need to do a little work on the hoses. The next time you have the loader off lay the lines out behind it. Pull the pin on the mid bracket so the lines are straight out. Two things to check now. 1, are the connectors on the ends pointing up? 2 are the lines free to move in the sleeve?
If the lines are not free to move in the sleeve, cut the plasic ties to free it. My service department said the sleeve should not have more ties than the book shows and they are not to be to tight. The only ones that are tight on mine now is the first one before the fold and the second one that is weaved into the sleeve.
If the ends are not pointing up ( mine were pointing down) cut the plastic ties if you did not have to do it to free the lines, and slide the sleeve back until you can loosen the ends of the hoses under the upper sleeve end. Not to much here. Just enough to rotate the ends up. You may have to go a little past because the end will move a little as you tighten it up.

The picture is the way the lines should look when you are done. They do not contact anything but the loader arm.
