3520 to be used with a trailer log forwarder

I bought the plumbing supplies to hook up the loader; they have not yet arrived. My neighbor expressed a concern about pressure on the return side of the log loader valves if it is used in series like this. Is this valid? The hoses on the loader seem to be interchangeable. There is no instruction manual.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think that should be an issue. If you hook up the hoses wrong then all the loader valves will operate in reverse.

Fittings arrived today. The 2 spool valve specs indicate a maximum 500 psi on the tank side, so this valve won't work in series. I assume that the valve body on the log loader could have the same issues, so I need to split the flow with a manual diverter or use the power beyond function of the 2 spool valve. ( 2 SPOOL 8 GPM PRINCE MB21BB5C1 DA VALVE) I could put a quick disconnect on the power beyond outlet for the log loader and tee back into the return. I could do the same with an identical control valve on my sawmill. However....

Question: What happens if I do not have something plugged into the power beyond outlet all the time? Will flow divert back to the tank?
