3535 automatic PTO

Went to use PTO in automatic yesterday and it would not work. When I had tiller down on ground it was acting like I had the lift raised up. I assume it has to be electrical. Just curious if anyone else has experienced this.

Have you used it successfully yet? Before this. I know these a toggle on the right side of dash that sets to run, auto and off I think and a button on the left side that starts it

Yes I used to be the auto function before. It worked fine last year. It has to be something electrical I would think.

I've heard that the solenoid can get stuck. With roto off the tractor, turn the required switches on and give the PTO solinoid a tap with a wooden handled screwdriver.

I don't know about your Mahindra, but on my Kioti there is a micro switch that the 3 pt. Lift handle engages that activates the PTO solenoid. I would not be surprised if yours is not similar.
