So how do they pass when all the others using DPF and regen cycle.

Mahindra and others are using a DOC ( diesel oxidation catalyst ) compared to a DPF ( diesel particulate filter). They both have positives and negatives. Both should be good for thousands of hours.

I know everyone has their favorites, but I have been researching tractors in the 40ish HP range and I cannot make up my mind. I was wondering how many people on this forum have had issues with more recent 3550s?

The few bugs that I have had with my 3550 have been worked out. All the fixes should be incorporated on new machines. I have not had any issues since the updates, I have around 650 hours.

I like mine for what I do. The extra weight, loader capacity, and tire size are worth it for what I do with the machine. If you are only mowing or driving fast on the road there may be better machines, but for material handling or heavy ground engagement work or rough terrain, I don't think the competition stacks up as well for my uses.
