Tractor Sizing 3720 Larger R4 true size?

( From what I've seen looking around on the net, there are lots of different choices in R4's as far as minor differences in tread patterns. But I guess that doesn't mean the dealer will offer that broad selection sold new on a new tractor. They might be stuck with only a few choices. )

On the JD 3x20 series tractors, there are two stock choices for R4's. The smaller size is the typical R4-type tread usually found on CUT's, and the larger size is the Galaxy Marathoner that is a bit different looking. I don't know how they perform (I hope the day I have to replace my Titan's is a long way off!)

Actually, if I had my choice - I'd like something like this instead of the R4's (since I live in a hilly area): http://www.firestoneag.com/databook/productlist.asp?ref=9

Those are R1's, but they're wide and more flat than a regular R1 so it would likely do just as well as the R4 as far as making impressions in the lawn, etc.
