Andy, I hope you have better luck than I did getting information. The JD guys seemed to know very little about the cab tractor. The two I spoke with claim that they were caught completely by surprise and that they had not been told a factory cab would be coming this soon.

I was told that the dealers had not yet received pricing nor any availability information. They said the response from the fair goers was very positive even realizing that the cab would be expensive.

I would definately be interested to see a 4x20 with the cab from inside and out if it is possible. Or even the 3x20 from the inside. I am very close to ordering a 4720 w/cab from my local dealer. Also, if you could ask the guys at the fair about the availability of a backhoe to go on the 4x20's with cabs.

Please see my other 4720 w/Factory Cab post, I really could use some info.

Thanks,
Ben

Great looking tractor and I fell in love the second I laid my eyes on it. Got an early quote from a south Louisiana dealer on a 4720 cab for about 29600. Will be selling my KubotaL4630 cab and "hot air" that cannot keep me cool in this Louisiana heat. Had a JD 4510 open air I sold to buy this Kubota but the service and the dealer SUCKS! It is like they say - I will sell all of the tractors I want and we don't care about service after the sale. So goodbye orange and welcome back GREEN!!!

Looks to have the electric diverter installed and really nice layout of the rear hydraulics. Mine are clustered and the 3rd is on it's own kind of afterthought bracket.

I'd be curious to see how the AC is powered.

Jodale Perry still has my eye also...

Duh, I just looked at the back again, look at those remotes! )</font>

Something I learned on the JD program on RFD TV. The outermost stick (yellow top) would be the PTO selector rear/both/mid...

I saw the 3720 with the cab at the fair today. Nice tractor. I pimped this guy pretty hard on this rig. He said that it was a John Deere prototype and they were not too sure what the price would be. The price in the pictures is for the tractor and the cab only. I sat inside the cab and it is just like sitting in the big JD's. All the plastic inside the cab is tan and the seat is the cloth covered seats they use in bigger tractors. It has an unbelievable amount of head room and the cab can not be taken off. XM sattilite, CD, and A/C. I popped the hood and the A/C unit is belt driven and mounted on the top right side of the motor. The fuel tank is in the left side rear fender and goes all the way down to the side step. I really don't know if this dealer has any idea what that cab is worth. It is such a nice cab inside that I have a really hard time believing that it is under $10,000. By looking at the change in controls, the A/C compressor mounting, the relocated fuel tank, and the electrical additions, and different rear fenders, I would have to believe that it will be a factory installed option only. You have to sit in it to believe how nice it is. Great job John Deere.

Yeah, me too, I'm trying to figure out why they put a cupholder on the rear, left fender? Or, what is that duct-taped gadget?
Could it be the fuel filler...and they taped it up so no one slipped in a surprise(?) at the fair. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I see something else missing...one thing keeping it from being the ultimate...a three point hitch switch on the rear fender (like the big tractors have) so you don't have to run back inside the cab while hitching up attachments. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

You are right about the 3 piont. It should be easy to have an extension on the lever to the rear, electric would be better.. How are the 'Botas?

The duct tape thingy is most likely the fuel fill (based on the desription posted already...) That would be a great location.

Who cares?
They are the wrong colors and besides, too light duty! (I guess they're ok for people who like to tinker and putter around the yard.) /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
