The 3520 uses a 1.8 liter triple. The 3725 has a 2.1 liter four. The 4225 uses the same engine but according to my dealer the fuel injectors are larger. The injector pump may be adjusted differently as well. Branson lists it as a different engine model- A2000N2 vs A2000N3
I test drove the 3520 and 3725. The 3520's engine sounded more tractor like to me but I was coming from a three cylinder Kubota. The 3725 is smoother and quieter. When I bought mine 1.5 years ago the 20 series had the same loader joystick on the fender as the 25 but the PTO and cruise controls were under the steering wheel while the 25s have them on the fender. I think the 20s moved them there since then. The 25s have two adjustable 3pt links (with nice crank handles on them) for adjusting implement tilt. The 20s have one adjustable and one fixed.
