3750 powersteering proublems

Can anyone advise me,the steering is firm,a little easier at higher rpm's bot not much,I was told it could be a adjustment on the pressure relief valve,where is it located?once I find it which way do I turn it?please foward me your advice,if you could scan me a diagram I would be greatfull,I ordered a manual but its going to be weeks,

Shifty, you more than likely have already done this but here is an idea. Check the fluid level on the powersteering resevoir. It's located at the right rear corner of the engine compartment with the hood open.

Mine with a full bucket 72" is almost impossible to turn the wheel with the tractor stopped. Even at high rpm's and the tractor stopped it's real hard to turn. Been like that for years.

You want to be real careful messing with the pressure adjustments. If you turn it up to high you'll blow the seals out and have a nice mess on your hands.

Thanks Gordon,yes I have checked the fluid level,it shows between the lines on the dip stick,with a empty bucket it steers like theirs a heaping bucket full of wet top soil.Do you know if their are any screens or filters in the power steering system?

Shifty, there are no screens or filters on that system that I know of. Something else you could try. Take the plug out of the top of the resevoir. Turn the steering wheel lock to lock slowly. Then check the fluid level again. Replace the plug.
This is what Kubota calls bleeding the powersteering system.

I would have posted it last night but the board was going so slow. Now it seems fine.
