I have had the thought that PT should make the bottom of the tub with a solid plate that has an oil drain plug.........
Then you could put a liquid alarm in the bottom for warning.I have had the thought that PT should make the bottom of the tub with a solid plate that has an oil drain plug.........
Today, you can print in flexibly clear translucent material and make the lens directly, and in any color. The first time I saw anything about 3D printing was quite a while ago. Jay Leno did a segment with a guy about recreating missing/broken car marker lights and turn signal lights. They had some old car that was missing, say, the left rear turn signal lens. They removed the right turn signal lens, and put a 3D scanner on it. Once they got it scanned, they just mirrored the scan and produced a left turn signal. They then cast the 3D printed left signal in something to get a negative mold of it, then poured the amber resin in the mold. Ta da! New turn signal lens.
Pretty neat!
