You did the wrong thing by telling the JD dealer it was for a Kubota you should have told them you had a John Deere 2720

What is the quick hitch the Kubota dealer can get you for $420?

The one from my dealer is a Worksaver brand. He said they've tried both cheaper and more expensive ones and these are what they feel are the best value for the customer.

My visit to the JD dealer was oddly similar to what Eric described. Guy said I should have bought a Deere. I told him I tried but why would I buy a 1026R when the same money got me my B3300. Guy responds with a "Pinto vs Porsche comparison". My response: "Chev vs Cadillac - same thing just one has more expensive paint". I don't think it even occurred to him that I had cash in my pocket willing to buy.

I had an I match on my 790 and really liked it. However I never set up my grooming mower for it to work with and when I bought a new Bush Hog BH5 the top link was a different distance and the I match wouldn't work without repositioning the top link bar. I was in the process of trading up and didn't modify the BH 5 to make it work but it did reinforce to me the variations in the CAT 1 dimensions. It also would not work on my post hole auger and the back hoe, so if I was using the tiller, rake or blade the I Match fit, other wise it was fighting the 3 pt. Additionally the quick hitches sometimes get in the way of attaching the PTO.
I just installed the Pat's Easy Change on my new Mahindra 1538 and feel that this hitch combination will be better for me. Easier to attach the PH auger and BH as well.
