Bout to test NH. Just before my warrenty expired in May, My TC35 3 pt. developed a real bad leak down. If the tractor was idling, it would shake as the 3pt. kept dropping and raising. I took it in, and they "fixed" it under warrenty. Now here it is 2 months later, out of warrenty, and had the same problem again. I just called the dealer, and am waiting to see what they are going to do about it.

I realize all hydraulics will bleed down over time, but I am talking about my weight box being on the ground in less than 10 min. My box weighs around 1000-1100 lbs, so I am at 1/2 of what the hitch is rated for. Just seems like this shouldn't be an issue, since I'm not overloading the hitch.

I'd say any repair should have a 90-day warranty. If you are within that period of time, there should be no problem. Beyond that 90 days, things might depend on your dealer.

Did your dealer tell you he had found a leak the first time in? If you are blowing an o-ring seal or gasket, there might be some irregularity causing the seal to fail. The symptoms you describe are normally associated with a hydraulic leak and constant correction by the position control. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Still waiting on an answer. I'm not sure what all they did to first time. The service manager mentioned something about some scoring on something, to they replaced it. I called them again today since I hadn't heard from them, and was told they are waiting on a return call from the service rep. They thought there was a 90 day policy, but wanted to make sure.

I discussed my use of a weight box, and they wondered if a weight box wasn't consistant with normal use AG use. I asked him how that was any different than using a 1000 lb. implement and didn't get much of an answer, other than with the implement, he thought it wouldn't be getting bounced around as much as a weight box. To which I disagreed with, given my usage, I'd say an implement in a rough field would get bounced worse.

Service installed parts by a new holland dealership have a 180 day warranty unless it is an engine that has a 12 month warranty.

Service tore into it yesterday and said it has the same problem as last time. The service guy is still trying to blame my weight box. But I keep asking what is the difference between having a 1000lb weight box on it, or using a 1000lb implement as counter balance. I still haven't gotten a good answer. I don't want to load the tires as I use it for landscaping, and want to be able to keep the tractor as light as possible when on yards.

Well, the saga continues..... The service manager called me today and let me know that the NH service tech agreed with me that the weight box has nothing to do with the problem, but he did recommend making a drawbar extension to rest part of the weight on. At this point, they are stumped. They went ahead and ordered replacement parts to get me going, and they are checking the fluid and filter to see if there are metal shavings in it. At this point it sounds like the store service guy isn't convinced that the problem won't come back again.
