3pt hitch = safety feature / revisited

   / 3pt hitch = safety feature / revisited #21
As a young man I used to work on my B-I-L's ranch. I remember driving one of his big old Case tractors pulling some sort of harrow (I have no memory of how it was hitched or what it was exactly). Occasionally the rear wheels would bog down under load in the muddy field and if you gave it more gas the nose would start to come up. I'd hit the clutch and it would come back down. I was too young and ignorant to have sensed any real danger but I was bullet proof when I was young, how I miss those days.

In retrospect, after a good many years of working with him off and on, I wonder if he was just trying to kill me. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
