3pt pallet forks

Anyone ever use 3pt pallet forks? I may be get a side job to lay 20 pallets of sod soon and I am wondering if this is worth my money? I have a L3240.. or are there other items to move sod pallets around with??

We use to take old forklift forks and turn them into 3 point setups. Make sure whatever you get has a nice wedge shape like so- >

It makes it easier to get under the pallet without barkign the boards, backup slow and sdjust your top link as needed, which seems all the time unles you are doing it on nice even ground.

I made a set using a forktruck sideshifter frame and a set of forks. They are very useful, but you are limited on lift height with the 3 point hitch. If you have a loader, forks are far more versatile when mounted on them.

I made an adapter to use my Frontier quick attach forks on the three-point hitch.

I also use my Deere forks on the 3 ph iMatch. Having the hydraulic top arm is almost a necessity to be able to pick up pallets with the forks on the 3 ph. Also, the top arm when retracted makes reaching the lockdown levers so much easier to reach from the tractor seat, making it easier to just stay seated while exchanging attachments.
