3pt Trailer hitch

Just another take on how to pull trailers with a 3pt hitch.
Here is a picture of the simple hitch I made with a purchased drawbar and some scrap angle iron.

Here is a drawing with dimensions.
A few of the lines seemed to have vanished when I converted it to a gif. But you should be able to get most of the dimensions.

duh - now I feel dumb for not thinking of something like that myself. I spent 20 bucks on an attachment that slips over the drawbar and the lower arm to keep it from rotating. I could have done it your way with some scrap angle iron and it would have worked better!! (Course that was before I could weld....) Good idea /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

So simple,
and such a dandy idea.
I moved my boat yesterday using just the drawbar and I don't like it when the ball tries to turn over when you reverse direction.
I will build the adapter today and the only change I can think of is to make it so it will attach to the drawbar with pins or bolts.

Works great, and I feel a lot better with the drawbar locked in position.

Still got to do a little grinding and smoothing of sharp edges and of course painting mine orange.
