I see 4 posts. Are you able to raise your FEL and curl the bucket?

yea there is nothing wrong with the fell or the hydrolics. It's the toggle switch on the WR long joystick nob. The toggle switch is junk and it's been discontinued. I need a new joystick nob with a new toggle

Here is the one I used rated at 3 amps at 26v so normally no need for relays. around $150 with 2 buttons.

I used the John Deer grip for my 3rd Function build. Only draw back is that you have to wire in relays because the JD circuitry isn't rated for the kind of current the solenoid will pull.

See my new Write-up on page 3 for details and parts list.

Hey Jose,

The grey membrane switches are part of the wiring harness. It's a sealed unit.
Here's the exact part I bought.

John Deere Wiring Harness LVA1751

It sets in the hole in one half of the grip and is held in place by internal tabs molded in the other grip half.

In looking at the schematic you posted Part #4 (LVA13698) should get you the entire grip assembly including the wiring harness.

I did a quick search for that part number and it's over $170 most places I look. I just ran the parts list from my project and it's $84.80 at greenfarmparts.com (plus s/h) Not sure what/why the difference but TBN User speedex used the same set-up as this because I got the parts list from his project thread when I was researching mine so I know it works for more than just me.

Good luck whatever you do.

Here's another route if someone has not purchased the joystick with button. IMG_1946.JPGIMG_1945.JPG

I bought the diverter valve kit from Kenny D rather than third function. It came with this switch I have almost 2 years on it with my grapple and it's worked flawlessly.

Button sets right under the ball of my thumb for a natural press on and off for the grapple/curl functions.

PS. Quit looking at my mess! I'm cleaning it up already!

Have an older W R Long kit with the single switch handle. Have found the OTTO switches on Ebay in the $15-$20 range

I just installed my JD grip handle using the ND2Fire parts list. Will be posting about it later. I used Smith Tractor Parts for my parts. $91 including shipping, but check around, Some folks are having sales right now, A 1/2 copper water line is an exact fit for a bushing if needed. OD fits the handle perfectly and ID fits the Bobcat handle once you grind the wings off as ND2Fire did, but for Bobcat you need to drill 2 holes. 13/64 is the size I used.
