Ok guys, what's the scoop?? How about filling us in on your experiences with the new factory cabs coming on the new tractors. Let us know the positives & negatives. What about heat & A/C, do they both work to your expectations. Pics would be great as well. On a personal note, I asked about a 3520 with cab, how do I run the backhoe & the salesman said they were not compatible with a hoe. True/False. Thanks

Dealer is correct - Cabs not compatible with the JD Back Hoes.

I love my Cab. The only downside I can think of would be not really a great cab for an extremely tall person. I'm not tall, so it is perfect for me. But, someone who maybe 6'3" tall, I could see a problem. If I were to remake the cab I would add another six inches of length to it to have it sit beyond the rear axle line. As far as backhoes go, it is true, as of right now, there is no backhoe for it. Woods makes backhoes for the Kubota Cab models, so I'm sure in the future they will begin to make them for the Deere Cabs. Who knows, maybe deere will make them eventually, just with a modified operator platform. I can't see why it can't be done.

Visibility A+
Sound Levels A+
Interior Room Behind Seat B-
Heat A++
Air Condition Haven't yet put to the true test but I've tried it so far an A+
Control Layout A+
Air Ride Seat A+
Radio and Speakers A+
Lighting Exterior A- (only wish I could turn front auxillary work lights on and keep Hazzard lights on at the same time) (basically I wish each set of lights had its own switch rather than one dial does it all set up) Rear work lights has its own dedicated switch)
Lighting Funtional A+ (really lights up everything in view)
Interior Lighting A+ (Automotive Dome Light turns on when you open door)
Dash Lighting A+ (Dash has a nice orange/red glow easy on the eyes in the dark) and you don't get a lot of reflection on the inside of the cab from the dash.
Arm Rests A+
Fuel Cap on Fender A+ (no more leaning over dirty loader arms to fill tractor when I need to stay clean for work) Non-Cab Models should also have this very convenient placement of the fuel filler cap!!!
Fuel Capacity A+
Vertical Exhaust A+

I am going to give a full review of the 3720 Cab tractor in the review section in a few days.

But yes, the heat works awesome!!! Cold start to take your jacket off while inside approx 5 to 7 minutes!

I guess this would be a negative, but heres the story.
I have waited a long time for John Deere to come out with the Factory Cab and I thought the day had finally arrived. I placed my order with the dealer and ordered up the following:
JD 3320 with Factory Cab and E-Hydro
Larger R-4 Tires
Mid PTO
300 CX Loader with 73" HD Bucket
59" Front snowblower with new front 3 Pt. Hitch.
The order was placed on 10/31/05. It came into the dealer on 12/4/05 or right about that time as that was when I called the dealer to check on it. They told me that it had just come in and they would need to set it up. I called a week later and they said that all the parts weren't in as they were waiting on the Mid-PTO. Now let me explain. You can order a mid-PTO factory installed on a 3520 and a 3720 with a factory cab, but you cannot order a 3320 with mid-PTO as it has to be dealer installed. Why, I don't know.
As of this writing, the dealer has no idea where the PTO is. This PTO is apparently not made by Deere so they have no way of tracking it. The Deere Dealer says that they have spoken to the Deere Rep about this problem, but no one has any answers.
I was told I can take delivery of the tractor with the loader and they would hook up the snowblower once the mid-PTO comes in. I now have an X595 with a blower on the front. We get a lot of snow in our area and if I took the loader it would take me at least twice as long to complete the 11 driveways that I now do. I told them I would wait for the Mid-PTO, but now I am wondering, what if something went wrong with the Mid-PTO or it broke, how long before I get a repair. It don't thing they are ready for overight or rush parts delivery at this rate.
You know when I first saw they factory cab I thought it was too good to be true, and it looks like it might be. Now I have a decision to make. Do I wait for an indefinite time, or do I tell them that I am going to pass on this.
I have owned many new John Deere's but now it seems they are not concerned about this and are willing to let a sale go. I am very disappointed.
These are my problems, and I would have loved to be able to tell you how the cab was, but I haven't even seen the tractor yet. Hopefully someday, if not maybe it is time to check out some other colors (can't beleive I said that).

I'd be very upset with the dealer. I would cancel the sale and go to somebody else. That is definatley Dealer Error. I wouldn't blame John Deere. Blame the dealer and lay into him hard. There is no excuse for that.

My 3720 cab model is at the dealer but waiting for the 3rd SCV and loader. All I have been able to do so far is visit and sit in the cab. I'll certainly post my experience with it when I do some real work with it.

From what I can tell so far, the build quality is great. A nice, integrated design with lots of eye appeal. Sitting inside, it feels more like a luxury SUV than a tractor. Visibility is extrordinary. Sound levels, from what I can tell runing the engine with the doors closed, seem very good.

I am impressed with how easy it is to get to all sides of the engine and how neatly the engine is laid out. Looks more like a military design, very easy to work on.

The one I ordered was the first the dealer here had seen. It caused such a stir, they immediately ordered another one for the lot.

I completely agree. Not so much of a putoff from the dealer as it is from Deere themselves. my dealer delivered the tractor and said they will pick it up and return it as the parts come in at no cost. Some of the extras I've ordered were not in the dealers book (rear work lights, mid pto,3rd svc etc.) till I called Deere and got the option number and gave it to my dealer or ordered the option when I ordered the tractor. Seems like Deere should take more interest in the people like us who still belive they make an exceptional product for the extra cost and still buy one. Blowing off alot of smoke here. but if it wasn't for the dealer and the perfection of this tractor I'd have been very dissapointed.
As far as do I like it....hehe, nothing runs like a deere and I'm proud to own it. For my use, nothing compares and I tried most of them.

Tglass, I just recieved my rear work lights and rear wiper kit last week. It was definatley worth the wait. Good thing we haven't had much snow while I was waiting for them.

So the 3 things I had to wait for after recieving the tractor,

73" Bolt on Cutting Edge for the bucket, got that about a month ago.

Rear Work Lights &
Rear Wiper Kit.... got those about a week ago...

Now finally my machine is complete..

I really so love this machine.... in my opionion, nobody yet has made a better cab on this size machine.

Finally took delivery of my 3320 Cab w/300CX loader and 59" Snow blower this weekend. It took nearly 3 months, but from what I can tell so far it was worth the wait. We haven't had any snow lately, but it will be back and I will fill you in on how the cab works out in the blowing snow. So far all I can tell is it is very quiet inside when the engine is running. I will try and give a full review, once I have used it a bit.
