Kubota Mx5100
Im new to tractors and have a new kubota mx5100. Works like a charm...except...

Ive been finding small areas of pinkish drips in the snow after blowing but cant find the source. I havent seen/felt any obvious oily spots on the tractor and never find any spots where im parked. I think the leak is from the left half of the beast.

Thanks for your help!

I would if it were easy... 100 miles and i dont have a trailer. I'm hopng it's a matter of tightening something.

It might just be blowing it out the breather. It is new and probably filled to max. find the breather for the hydraulics' and look for signs of a little blow out.

Any chance its red antifreeze?

Do you run off road diesel or ULSD, you can sniff or taste the fluid to.see what it is

Pink in color tells me that its off road fuel. Check to see if some fuel was spilled when the tank was filled (running down the side of the tank). Also look to see if the fuel filter is tight. I had a fuel return line rupture on me one time when plowing snow and had pink snow everywhere. My .02 cents.

Could be lots of things on a brand new machine,as stated a simple over fill.I would place a piece of cardboard under the machine over nite and try to locate the problem area for starters.

All of the above. Mine started leaking antifreeze at about sixty hours. Come to find out if you actually read the owners manual and the break in section it tells you to tighten all the radiator hoses at fifty hours. A couple of turns on four clamps and problem solved. I hope yours is as simple.

I dunno, red or Pink?.. off road diesel is red, but pump diesel is green, the hydraulic fluid for the rest of the tractor is more or less clear to maybe a little yellowish.. the Kubota antifreeze is green. I cant think of any pink fluid in the tractor. Are you using off road diesel? if not, I don't think it is the tractor.. sounds like an automatic transmission car or truck.

It's definitely from the tractor...the fluid has shown up on snow that has never had a car drive over it. As for fuel, i'm not sure what's in it. The tank came full and i have yet to refuel. It may be pink, or perhaps red tha looks pink in the snow. The hyd fluid is yellowish...very different looking.

It sounds like a fuel issue to me, from wha i've heard. Work will get in the way of tractor tme tomorrow...hopefully i can dive into this in more detail on Friday.

I obviously hate that somethingis leaking, but we're talking drops here and there... I dont think this is a fatal leak...yet!
