can you take a straw and get a bit of fuel out of the tank ? might be a place to start

Look at your fuel filter on the side of the engine.. you should be able to tell even looking thru the plastic cup if it has a reddish tinge or a greenish tinge. Often dealerships will have off road fuel, and fill your first tank with red.. I have used green ever since. So if it is from the tractor, it has to be fuel. Unless it is red grease falling off of the loader joints.. Look at the loader pins and see what color the grease on them is.. It falls off all the time. Mostly with dirt on it though.. I dunno if it would show as a drop in the snow or not..its probably fuel.

Diesel is just the right color. Thought it might be the relief tube from the tank, but it terminated above parts that look/feel pristime. Fuel filter feels mint clean too. Will rubber band papertowel over each and clear the drive...likewise. Lines from tank seem clean too. Before i do that, are there other places that are likely contenders for leaks?

 I agree, nothing like good service. Two years ago, I bought the backhoe from my dealer. About 30 minutes using it, fluid started dripping out of the bottom. I took off the covers and could see the valve was leaking.

I called the dealer and he showed up the next day (80 miles) with a new backhoe on the truck. As it turned out, there is a fitting on the bottom of the valve to allow for expansion, that was loose. We couldn't see the fitting until the valve was removed. Good service is worth a lot. Last month I bought another new tractor from him.

Nothing is showing up. Time will tell if this is good news or bad news.

All of the above. Mine started leaking antifreeze at about sixty hours. Come to find out if you actually read the owners manual and the break in section it tells you to tighten all the radiator hoses at fifty hours. A couple of turns on four clamps and problem solved. I hope yours is as simple.

I had a leak and traced it to the coolant hoses. I had to tighten them up a couple times before they got sealed good.
