4-in-1 bucket

Well it looks like the L4610 will be here in 2-3 weeks!!! Now the search begins for a 4-in-1 bucket. I talked to my dealer and he want's to sell me a one for a skid stear/bobcat with a mounting frame for quick/tatch to change forks. This set up was over $3500.00, seams a little much. He said that the tractor is so new that no one has anything on the market yet. Anyone have any ideas for any other suppliers??

Nothing like getting her tricked out, I drool at the sight of one, I need one bad. But to answer your question-try and e-mail Carver and if one exists they will know about it and I never have heard a bad word about them pretty impressive I'd say.
Or Mark his 4310 is very very tricked out and he could probably steer you in the right direction. Just don't tell him that you picked the glide-shift over the hydro and it will be all good. If you don't tell him I won't ok /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Your dealer didn't tell you that a 4-in-1 bucket won't work on a GST??? /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif You didn't really get a GST, did you? You're just trying to jerk my chain, aren't you? You seemed like such an intelligent fellow...

My 4-in-1 bucket is on its third Kubota. The brand name is Long, and is the one Carver sells, though I didn't get mine from him. Just make sure that if you get an electric valve that you know the ins and outs of the regenerative dump circuit. There's a lot of info in the archives on this.

Mark yes I did order a GST I looked under the tractor and there was just to much extra pluming for me on the HST.IM woried about get stuff jamed up their and giving me grief, which sure dont need any more of.[got enought stuff to fix now] Besides I drove both and I just could not figer out how to use the brakes and run the darn tractor a the same time?? I skid more logs than any thing and use the brush hog a lot + ya got a rember I got a 1910 now with a 12x12 trans. and this gst is way smoooooth to me. I got in a pile of dirt and had a ball. I you use the speeds 1-8 and slow down as you go in to the pile its kind of like the HST you just use your hand. They didnt have a loader on the HST, loaders are in short supply. I will have to wait 2 to 3 weeks to get it now unless I take a loader that fits a cab modle, I told him I would wait, didnt want the cable controls. So maybe I IM not as smart as you thought??

I'm sure you'll enjoy the GST. I'm puzzled about the extra plumbing, though. There's an additional filter - I understand that. But the HST lines going to the oil cooler up front aren't underneath, so I'm not sure what you were afraid would get hit.

Congrats Rich you will love it. Smart move to wait on the proper loader for that unit. I have a cab on my L3750 and also a cable controlled loader. The slop in the cable can be a pain but alot of the loaders are cable controlled.
