4 Month Old T2220 W/Hydraulic Problem

Hudstone, when I hear this problem, it makes me think there might be a governor issue. I wonder if the governor might be sticking and not working to regulate the injector pump? After a few starts, it could be breaking loose (becoming unfrozen?) and suddenly everything is normal.

Then again, the governor adjusts the injector pump, so it could also be sticking. It's all speculation on my part. The only thing for certain is that you should not have to deal with this. You have my sympathy.

Hey Guys,

I just talked to my friend that runs a Diesel Pump
rebuilding business, and looking at the IPB on the
Pump he said that the governor is in the engine on
these, and when you shut down the tractor the
governor is going into start setting.

Then when you have a cold morning or day and start
the tractor it sticks in that start setting, turning off the
key shuts off the solenoid in the engine and turns off the
fuel so we are safe turning off the engine with the key.

He also said a thick oil could cause problems with the
Governor also. He is guessing that the governor has issues, hope this helps.
