4-way valve & small hydraulic leak

Yesterday, I noticed a little hydraulic fluid on the 4-way valve for the loader. I cleaned it up before I put the tractor away for the afternoon. This morning, a small bit was there again. Just enough to make a small drop on the floorboard, but no more. Is this normal or might there be a bad seal or ?? on one of the couplers?

More than likely it is a fitting that needs to be snugged up a bit. There are lots of hoses and lots of fittings, sometimes a tech will miss the finally tightening one or two.

Get a spray can of brake clean and clean it real good. then see where it sileaking and go from there.

The brake clean is a good idea, but remember to get it off any painted surfaces. Some brake cleaner products when left in a puddle or soaked into a rag where they don't evaporate quickly can soften paint. It will work great, just make sure you clean it up.

All of the tips posted are good and should be tried---Most of these valves have fittings that have a thin copper washer to make the seal--If you are leaking at one of these points? You can sometimes take out the flat washer and rub it gently over some emery cloth until all scratch marks are gone and then re assemble--Ken Sweet

Go ahead and snug them, but be careful. Some of those fittings are tapered (Kubota's are). If you overtighten them that will spread the cracks and cause the leak to be faster. I speak from experience. I had a slow leaker and tried to tighten it, making it worse.
