4 Wheel drive indicator with inclinometer install on a Grand L Cab

I'm curious what you use to activate the 4wd indicator light? I'm pondering a small weather proof switch on the linkage under the floor for mine. Or is your 4wd electronically actuated?

I used a weather proof switch with a 4 inch spring lever on it. Just put it next to the linkage.
